CATS

So the little bitty kitties aren't little any more. They're growing up just like everyone else in this household. (Insert a big mama sigh) They're in their teenage phase now. Not quite adults, but not babies anymore. And they are getting on my last nerve. They constantly play with each other, which is great. Everyone knows I love a good play time, but they are ridiculous. They get tangled up in Kroger shopping bags and get stuck in the unlit fireplace. They purr in my face (like a truck engine) at 4:00 in the morning and beg for food when their bowl is full.

I can only imagine what they get into while we're gone. Everyday I find things that used to be on shelves that they have knocked down. Pictures and knick-knacks have ended up on the floor. On a finer note, nothing has been destroyed and no bunnies have been eaten (Ha).

Yesterday when I visited Grandma Scherrer and took her on her weekly trip to Wal-Mart, I talked her into getting her cat, Buddy, some catnip and then added a little red laser mouse to her cart. After shopping we had a great time watching Buddy get high on catnip and trying to catch the laser light with his eyes dilated and crossed.
Just two old ladies passing time harrassing a cat......
