It's been a very busy week at the RiverStone Resort, hence the lack of any new posts or pictures. The Shriners have descended on Pigeon Forge, and the Kazim branch has rented out every single one of our condos. Apparently the Shriners have quite a notorious reputation and some hotels won't even rent to them, but our bunch have turned out to be a pleasant surprise. They are all VERY friendly, gracious, and alot of fun. Me and a co-worker tried to determine what exactly a Shriner is, and we came to the conclusion that they basically raise ALOT of money for a children's charity, all the while having a GRAND'ole time. There was a huge party yesterday, with the drinking starting at noon, and the dancing going on till the wee hours of the morning. Today they are having a battle-of-the-bands in the banquet hall, with another party this evening. Tomorrow is the parade, where they will be driving their little cars, raising money. And then ANOTHER party down by the Lazy River. Everyone has been well behaved despite the constant alcohol intake, and everything is running smoothly. I'll almost be sad to see them go.

Out-partied by a Shriner
