AND SO IT BEGINS...
Since I've sorta, kinda gotten into the blogging thing, I decided to create a blog for the house where I could post updates on all the very important going-ons that occur. Since I'm a beginner, you will have to forgive the many mistakes I'm sure I'll make in my postings, but I think this will be fun way to keep in touch.
We had a very exciting evening last night. When we arrived home, we were bombarded by humming birds. The word had gotten out that there is a feeder in the yard. The look on Trinity's face was priceless. I don't think she really believed that the feeder would attract actual birds. But it did. Little green ones in fact. We're believers now.
Then we had a huge thunder storm roll in. The electricity actually went out twice. I had to stop the tent from blowing away. The umbrella from my fabulous patio furniture DID blow away (Thank God it didn't go into the other yard) but was rescued and is safely underneath the deck. The storm didn't last long, and we didn't actually get much rain, but it ended in a very pretty rainbow. The girls were in awe because this was their first LIVE rainbow. I took a picture but all I could capture were two very happy girls, which is good enough for me.
P.S. In the photo you can barely see the rainbow, but my favorite part is the two girls hugging (at the bottom)
