NICE SOCKS

After I got the yard work done, I asked Madison what she wanted to do. She was insistent that we go to the store and replenish our supply of Co-Co Puffs and band-aids. Seriously. So I insisted that she get her socks and shoes on. She counter-acted my insistence and put her knee high CHRISTMAS socks on. Since I don't fight the small battles, my child did indeed run the grocery store aisles dressed ridiculously. And nobody cared. In fact, we received many smiles and a woman in the bakery actually gave me a thumbs up. Best of all, in the car, on our way back home with our needed supplies, Madison thanked me. In her words, "Thank you, Mama. That was the funnest!".

Shelly
You're welcome, baby.
