Everyone knows the sound of the Icecream Truck, and my children are no exception. I can ask them to do something twenty times over, only to be virtually ignored. But once they hear the tinkling music from afar, it's a whole other story. They literally stop in their tracks, tilt their heads to the wind, and are completely silent. Then they slowly turn to me with their big wanting eyes.
And I give in. Who doesn't love a treat that's delivered straight to your house? Plus, I think Icecream Trucks should be a part of everyones childhood, like Chuck E Cheese and Slip n' Slides.
