LET'S TAKE A WALK...

It's another slow night in Blog-ville. To prove this point, I actually took pictures of pictures. I have several framed photos that mean the world to me (treasures), and they also give a little insight into my past. So, sorry about the photo quality, but shall we begin...

This picture was taken at The Old Towne Pub, my most favorite bar of all time in Madison, Wisconsin. (Even Dad tried to steal my hat). Me and Becky had attended a wedding that day and decided to stop for a beer on the way home (Well, I probably dragged her there since I was dating one of the bartenders). But anyway, I LOVE this picture because we were so pretty in our fancy dresses and we just look so HAPPY. Love it! I keep this picture proudly displayed on my fireplace mantle...

This picture of the girls is especially special. It came from an old 35mm camera that only worked periodically. I was finally able to get the film developed, and I got a pleasant surprise with this one. Trinity was three, Madison almost two. It was a very spontaneous picture and I love how it captured the love between them, even back then. It's my most favorite picture of them together so I keep this one on the nightstand next to my bed...

This one was taken at Becky's wedding. Not only did Becky look gorgeous and so very happy, but Dad looked beyond handsome in his tux. It was really such an awesome day. I simply just love this picture and it's home has always been on my dresser...

As you can maybe tell, this picture hangs on my fridge. A lot of pictures do, and I swap them out accordingly, but this one always stays. It was taken years ago on one of our family vacations up north. Those visits were always awesome and much needed. I've always loved how happy Mom looked despite the intrusion of two strong-minded toddlers and one exhausted daughter. So this one stays put. It's an obvious favorite.

Thank you all for following me down memory lane. Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

What a great idea showing older pictures. I too have been having slow blog days. I was taking pictures of stuffy that I had when I was little.

It's just those things that mean so much to us we just don't want to let go.
