With the recent purchase of a Slip n' Slide we spent ALOT of time outside this past weekend. Normally, our time outside is in the evening when the sun is at its weakest. The girls are not usually sliding on their bellies on plastic. For hours. Needless to say, they got a little sunburned. It's definitely my fault for not thinking to apply suntan lotion in the first place, and then by being too distracted with cleaning out the garage to realize that my children were being fried like little chicken wings. Although the sunburns weren't really that bad (Madison loves her tan lines), I had a serious moment of Mommy Guilt. I know we all have them, so here's one for the list.
